quick log, May 13th

Hello all. It has been a long time. I have just discovered the delights of typing on a clickety flat keyboard. I've never done it before. For all you dunderheads who have not guessed it already, yes I am now fingering a laptop (sorry I had to). Recently I have taken to the charm of the word 'awesome'. There never quite has been another which could be this vivid an expression of brilliance, except perhaps 'brilliance' itself. Of course I miss autocorrect my dear hoe a little, because nobody here capitalizes my sentences; but that too shall pass. God bless the 'undo' function, for it has saved my arse (with an r because I have taste) innumerable times when I chanced to stumble upon the very strategically placed 'pause'(delete?) button. This is the fourth time I have unintentionally erased my rant. But fear not friends, because the typing is too much fun to stop for such mere causes. The clicking of these neat keys sound absolutely wonderful against my men, The 1975. Now playing: Be My Mistake, the gem(in case you were wondering, as you should). Afternoon has fallen, and the crows are coming home. I cannot think of a name for the poem on Trapezists, maybe typing about it will help. (Oh the song changed. Now playing: Falling, by the Harry Styles) Spotify has been good to me.(Next on queue, a whole lot of Ricky Montogomery because I have been denying myself the wonders of modern rock for way too long). Thank you Jack Edwards, the man among men, for Flying Saucers. Stephen King has begun giving me the chills, but the Overlook is yet to show Danny true horror. What Else? Oh yes, I have returned to the story I had abandoned at the yellow notebook. The pen is rolling, in erratic bursts, but it is rolling. Now that the clicking has inspired me, I will see it to the end, if only to avail the pleasures of typing it all down. I plan to send it to Didi if it turns out decent. Maybe. I would have liked to type further, but laptop batteries simply refuse to be  immortal. Spoilsports, I know. If it matters, I'll be back sooner this time. Until then, over and out.

(oh, someone told me that I sound like a 21st century teenager stuck in an 18th century mind whenever I am here. What they probably meant was that I sound pretentious, but oh well, if you're ranting on your privy little blog after long disappearances and you don't even sound pretentious, what even is the point? On that note, I do sound incredibly pretentious here)
