summer again
Hello world, haven't written to you in a while. We have a new laptop and a new room pretty much all to ourselves for now. My friends are coming over to keep me company and bedrot in my free air conditioning which is nice and delhi is oddly calming this summer. Classes begin tomorrow, but apart from that, I plan to stay in a lot this semester. There are a few little trips in the bag, hopefully they come to fruition. I realize my tastes have changed quite notably in the past year, I've discovered the charm of fried cauliflowers. I am looking at my twenties right in the eye, and I can only hope I will make something good out of my life. I found our old digital camera in a junk drawer back home and brought that over. We've lost the charger but I'm looking it up on the internet and things look quite promising. I think I should probably consult a chandni chowk expert and get the battery health and memory card checked before I rush to buy anything. I like the new place, it's a nice neighbourhood for walks and they make beans for dinner most nights, but I'm dreading the commute to college a little. I will miss sprinting to the gates most mornings in my pyjamas and getting single cigarettes on a whim. That is a lie, I never sprint. I'm a walker, albeit a fast one. There are a few things I need to get in order before I settle in completely. Fixing the strap of my brown bag, doing the laundry, washing my hair, trying the new moisturizer, etcetera. I realize that I absolutely love what's in my bag videos, even more than I love personal interviews. I have to buy a new pair of jeans, a lipstick and a Joan Didion book. I also have to get over my ridiculous fear of mocks and timed practice sets. I've been procrastinating far too much. I'll write more when I've got a hang of things.
